The LG Watch Urbane is an Android Wear powered watch, but it can’t do one thing that its main competitor, the Apple Watch can: make phone calls. Yes, there is going to be a lot of talk about the Apple Watch on this blog since it is now available, that’s for sure.
Fortunately, there is an equalizer available with a new application known as LG Call. Now, this particular application will not empower the LG Watch Urbane for making phone calls everywhere. For that, you will need the LG Watch Urbane LTE.
Yes, you will have to be hooked up wirelessly to an Android smartphone to get the LG Call app to work. Now, my Source asks an interesting question that I am curious about myself. That is, if this LG Call application is just a bridge of some kind to the LG Watch Urbane, then why in the world is it not available to other Android Wear watches such as the original G Watch and the G Watch R?
Yeah, it is pretty obvious that LG Call needs to come to other Android watches. In fact, most of the comments on the Google Play site on this particular application are about why the LG Call is only available exclusively to the LG Watch Urbane.
